The island

[Rainestar]

On Gatherings, Clan leaders announce current affairs and significant events in their Clan (like appointing new apprentices and warriors, or death of a cat). They also use this time, if necessary, to ask for help from others, such as when WindClan asked RiverClan for drinking rights in their territory, when a drought shortened their water supply. Warriors use this chance to meet their friends from other Clans and exchange information. Many cats will use a Gathering to try to determine the strength and weakness of another Clan. Clan leaders hold Gatherings to share news with the other Clans. Gatherings are meant for meeting new cats, but not to share your weaknesses and strengths. The start of the gathering marks a time of truce between the four Clans. When the truce is broken StarClan voices it's displeasure by sending clouds over the moon

[Hawkheart]

Hawkheart scampered a little ways ahead, she was quite excited. They must've been the only clan who had settled, based on the other's coats. While the other clan cats had worn, muddy, dusty pelts that showed their ribs off, Hawkheart, Wolfstar, and the other Shadowclan cats had cleaner, smooth coats, and were well fed.

Smokesky walked onto the island shortly after Hawkheart. 'None of them look very well fed,' she though, 'I wonder how their faring?'

[Wolfstar]

Wolfstar walked along the log and as he inspected the other clan cats he seemed to lose his footing "Hel-!" Wolfstartried to hang onto the bark but seemed to slip off anyways and into the water. He splashed about and every once and awhile slip under the water.

[Spottedpool]

Spottedpool instantly ran over "Oh my gosh! Someone! Featherstar?!!?!?" She screeched, Spottedpool atempted to reach out to the ShadowClan leader but failed, there was no point in having to drowning cats.

[Featherstar]

Featherstar watched as the tom struggled to get out of the water "Don't...." She whispered to ClickingClaw.

[Wolfstar]

Wolfstar was able to keep his head out just long enough to see the RiverClan Leader and Deputy trade words. "Help!!!" He screamed again "RiverClan!!!" He pleaded.

[Rainestar]

At first Rainestar was unsure of what to do. She gave a glare at the RiverClan cats "What is wrong with you!" She spat threw her teeth as she ran to the waters edge "I'm coming!" Rainestar didn't know how to swim, but that didn't stop her from trying "Spottedpool! Grab onto my tail!" as she touched the water she jumped back but the went back in. The Windclan leader grabbed hold of the toms tail, she pulled him closer and clutched onto his neck scruff as well as getting a mouth full of water.

[Spottedpool]

Spottedpool obeyed her leader and helped her reach out to the tom 'Why is she panicking so much? It's not like she lov-... Rainestar? Could she?'

[Wolfstar]

Wolfstar felt his tail being pulled, the being dragged out onto the shore, his body gave a short spaz, he could see his father with a few other cats "Not yet..." they whisperd. Wolfstar felt as if he had just fell from the sky landing square flat on his back.

[Spottedpool]

Spottedpool waited in fear as Wolfstar had a spasm "He is losing a life... he has more... not many..." knowing how old Wolfstar was and the amount of battles he had been in he probably had two or three left.

[Rainestar]

Rainestar felt a tear roll down her cheek, she quickly wiped it away hoping know one saw it "Spottedpool, Smokesky can you see if there is any sorrel, daisy, chamomile or burnet on the island? It will bring his strength back" wishing that the ShadowClan cat would liste she turned back to the RiverClan cats "How could you!" She snarled threw her bared fangs "You could of saved him!".

[Featherstar]

Featherstar spoke "I'm not sure why you care! You aren't even in the same clan! Why should I help? It was his fault!"

[Wolfstar]

Wolfstar coughed up some water before rolling over exhausted "Wha?" he looked around "Thank you... Rainestar" He tried to sit up strait but kept leaning to a side, the tom was trying to look as strong as he could. It was so embarrassing to be saved by the RiverClan she-cat.

[Cherrystar]

Cherrystar reached the bridge before Wildstep, keeping silent. She padded across the bridge. "What happened?" She asked Rainestar, watching Wolfstar. "And there is no fighting on the island." She reminded her quietly enough that no one else would hear.

[Dawnfoot]

Dawnfoot watched it happen in slince. There was nothing she could do. When Cherrystar arrived, Dawn slunk silently to the other side of the group.

[Jaystripe]

Jaystripe sat watching in shock. "What happened? Did he slip?" He asked the she-cat sitting next to him. "I didn't see."

[Dawnfoot]

Dawnfoot looked at him. "You're Shadowclan, shouldn't you have been right beside him?" She asked, not really caring. "But yeah, he slipped. And lost a life."

[Jaystripe]

"Oh." Jay replied helpfully. "No, I wasn't right beside him. I don't really like water..." He added. No need to mention the deep gauges his claws had left in the wood getting across, and the heavy height sickness that he'd gotten from looking over the edge at the water. "I'd make a terrible Riverclan."

[Dawnfoot]

Dawnfoot ignored him, and turned to see where Rainestar had gotten to. She was still sitting next to Cherrystar.. great. And Icelegs wasn't here either. Fun.

[Wolfstar]

When the medicine cats had gotten a few of the listed herbs he ate them quickly and got up "Let's make this a quick meeting..." The four leaders made there way to the tree "I will.. um stay down here... "

[Rainestar]

"I will stay with you" she replied instantly "I mean down here..." Rainestar for two reasons to not go up, one she didn't want to sit beside Feather and two she wanted to be next to Wolfstar. "Cherrystar will you start us off"

[Hawkheart]

Hawkheart growled at the she-cat as she walked away. "Are you questioning our loyalty to our leader?! We would've been right there in the wate trying to help him if the other cats weren't hovering around him like foxes going to pounce,", she challenged angrily.

[SmokeSky]

Smokesky sighed 'don't fight,' she begged. She was glad that wolfstar was able to take some of the herbs she had helped get (just pretend). But it was disappointing for a leader to loose his life, 'and on the gathering,' she thought.

[Weaseleye]

Weaseleye looked at Hawkheart. Then, he looked at the pretty she-cat. "Hawkheart, leave her alone. She was just asking.", he said, walking with Dawnfoot to her place. "How is the den area?", he asked cheerfully.
